Your guide to registering your car for sale at Mycar Supermarket

Vehicle Details

To begin, enter you vehicle registration in the text box and our system will automatically select your vehicle from the DVLA database. You will then be able to edit and enter any unique information about your vehicle, this includes service history, vehicle condition, any extras and your preferred asking price.

Don’t worry if you haven’t all the information to hand straight away as you can amend the vehicle details within your Mycarconsole.

Do answer the questions accurately and to the best of your knowledge, Mycar Supermarket’s unique system allows private sellers with well looked after and maintained cars to sell them quickly and at their true market value. If your vehicle does not have service history, a V5 present or has been an insurance total loss, do not attempt to sell it on Mycar Supermarket

Now upload up to 6 images of your vehicle, If you don’t have 6 (or any) images at the time of registration you can still process your sale. All details are completely manageable at any time from within your Mycarconsole. There may be a delay upon image upload dependent upon your internet connection speed.

Personal Details

Please supply your personal details including name, home address and your unique password. You will need your password and email address to access your Mycarconsole each time you visit the site. Once logged in you will be able to manage your sale, answer enquiries, and arrange viewings all at the touch of a button.

Payment

To list your vehicle, Mycar Supermarket requires debit or credit card payment through our secure online system provided by Barclays. You will of course be asked to confirm your home address and the address that the card is registered to for security reasons. Confirmation of your payment details will authorise Barclays to take the listing fee of ÂŁ19.95 only, the sale fee of ÂŁ80 will only be taken on completion of sale through Mycar Supermarket*.

Arrange your Inspection

The final section requires you to choose your preferred inspection location and date. Please select one of three local NSN garages or a mobile vehicle inspection. Our inspection team will then contact you to confirm the booking. Our sales team will then approve your listing to go live pending the fully independent vehicle inspection*.
